During the exhibition, Li Yong reported to Yang Hongbo the Group’s progresses made in the past years and its strategy to become a well-known enterprise in the global environmental industry in 5 to 10 years. Yang Hongbo gave full recognition in the Group’s work and encouraged the Group to catch the development opportunities of the environmental industry, employ its advantages as a state-owned enterprise, and perform itself in the treatment of air, water and soil pollution. In particular, he urged the Group to resort to the Three-Year Plan on the onstruction of Domestic Sewage and Waste Treatment Facilities, take part in environmental projects within the province, greatly advance pollution control and treatment, and ultimately make new contributions to the ecological improvement of Chengdu and the rest of Sichuan. At the exhibition, the Group made contact with many enterprises to seek opportunities for cooperation.
On the afternoon of April 14, the delegation attended the Hong Kong Electronics Fair (Spring Edition) at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center and, under the leadership of the CCPIT Sichuan, communicated with several officials of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council on the global trends of environmental protection markets and the information about the Eco Expo Asia in the autumn.
